  • $50 Give the gift of one year’s tuition and library access for a girl’s educational experience in a remote area
  • $100 Ensure literacy for an Afghan child through two-year reading program
  • $350 Provide an entire class of 25 students with access to books and instruction in reading
  • $500 Create a School Library with 200 titles benefiting hundreds of people
  • $750 Help train three teachers in the Youth empowerment and Leadership Program

The Afghan Libraries Program is a project of Relief International (RI). RI is a humanitarian non-profit agency that provides emergency relief, rehabilitation, and development assistance and program services to vulnerable communities worldwide. RI focuses on bridging emergency relief to development through transitional and cross-sectoral and integrated programs including education, health, shelter, community development, agriculture, food, income-generation, and peace & tolerance promotion. RI is solely dedicated to reducing human suffering and is non-political and sectarian in its mission. RI was established in 1990 and is based in Los Angeles, California, USA with offices worldwide.
